Custom Sportswear Manufacturers

<5% Stretch Recovery for High-Motion Training

Most factories run gym blanks, not performance garments. We cut and sew running, training, team, and athleisure apparel with fabrics that hold their stretch and seams that survive high motion.

Construction Engineering

Built for Motion, Not Just for the Rack.

Performance sportswear fails at the seams — literally. These construction and process controls are what keep a garment from chafing, bagging out, or splitting under load.

Flatlock seam on performance sportswear

Flatlock

Lies flat against the skin with elasticity to follow every movement — it avoids friction and seam failure on shoulder, side, and inseam.

4-needle 6-thread flatlock · needle-change logbook
Bonded seam being heat-pressed onto activewear fabric

Bonded Seams

Calibrated heat-press with digital temperature and time control for bonded hems and heat-transfer logos that will not peel after washing.

Digital temp/time control · calibration stickers
Reinforced gusset panel construction in performance garment

Gusset Panels

Diamond or triangular gusset replaces the vulnerable four-seam junction with one reinforced panel, matched to body fabric in composition and GSM.

Body-fabric matched · composition + GSM verified

Needle Detection & Metal Control

Conveyor metal detection on final packed garments plus a broken-needle logbook procedure — a critical-defect gate with zero tolerance before shipping.

Private Label Activewear Production

Private Labeling on Stitch and Sticker.

Private labeling is part of the standard workflow — woven labels, care tags, hangtags, and custom poly mailers — so the customer experience carries one identity, not the factory’s.

Woven labels

Soft woven neck and hem labels with your logo — smooth where printed substitutes scratch, and free of any "made in" confusion.

Satin care tags

Satin-soft care and content tags that meet label-composition requirements without irritating skin.

Custom hangtags

Branded hangtags matched to your packaging spec, or designed with you during the sample stage.

Branded poly mailers

Custom poly mailers and inserts so the unboxing moment reinforces the brand — not a generic invoice.

Built for Motion. Trusted by Athletes.

★★★★★

We launched our sportswear line last season, and the team behind it delivered. Their 7-day prototyping turned a running and training concept into real samples at speed, and the flatlock + gusset construction on those leggings has held up through months of athlete testing.

The moisture-wicking fabric they developed has customers raving — sales jumped 40% since we partnered.

What won us over was the detail work — seams mapped to real movement and a size run that fits athletes.

★★★★★

That first sample run strapped a rocket to our startup.

The low-volume first run let the team test six styles across basketball jerseys and training hoodies without betting the company, and the custom fabric sourcing, including smart thermoregulating knits for the team kits, beat any stock substitute.

Those sublimated jerseys stay color-accurate wash after wash, and the door-to-door delivery arrived on one invoice. With that kind of support, our brand is not just in the race — it's lapping the competition.

Sportswear FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions About Custom Sportswear Manufacturers

How do I choose the right compression level for my line?

Compression is graded by how much the fabric hugs — pick it by use, not by feel. Light compression (nylon-spandex, ~8–12% stretch) suits everyday training tops and tees where you want a clean fit without support. Medium compression (20–22% spandex blends, ~250–280 GSM) is the default for leggings, bike shorts, and lifting wear — it holds muscles without restricting the squat. Heavy compression (28–32% spandex, 260–320 GSM) is for recovery pieces and high-impact team wear. If your range spans all three, we grade each style against its own fabric so the "compression" claim on the label is actually true.

What is the difference between a training top and a racing singlet?

Training pieces are built to survive hundreds of wears; racing pieces are built to shave seconds. A training tee runs 180–220 GSM with a relaxed fit and reinforced stress points, so it launders hard and lasts. A racing singlet drops to 120–150 GSM, uses a tighter aerodynamic cut, and often adds laser-cut ventilation panels where you sweat most. Most brands do both off the same base block — we keep the pattern family consistent so your line reads as one, while the specs diverge for purpose.

How do I pick the right GSM for my specific sport?

GSM is the first lever — weight follows the sport, not the trend. Running tops and singlets: 120–180 GSM featherweight knits. Training and crossfit: 180–220 GSM with moisture wicking. Team jerseys: 140–180 GSM sublimation polyester; team tracksuits step up to 240–280 GSM. Yoga and pilates: 240+ GSM squat-proof knits. Lightweight outerwear: 280–350 GSM fleece or a water-resistant woven around 200–260 GSM. Tell us the sport and season, and we spec the base fabric before you ever see a swatch.

Can I add reflective details or heat-transfer logos for night running?

Yes — reflective transfer and heat-sealed logos are standard on our running and team lines. Reflective film is heat-pressed onto chest, back, sleeve cuffs, or hem, and holds through 30+ industrial washes when placed away from high-flex seams. If you want reflectivity woven into the fabric itself rather than applied, reflective yarn works but raises the fabric minimum — we tell you which applies at quoting. Heat-transfer logos follow the same calibration as our bonded-seam work, so they will not peel or crack after washing.

Do you develop sport-specific pattern blocks, or only standard fits?

Pattern blocks are cut for the motion of the sport, not just the silhouette. Running gets a rear scoop hem and a forward-set sleeve for a long stride; cycling tops get a dropped tail and pre-curved sleeves for the leaned-over position; yoga gets a taller rise and extended side seams for deep stretch; team kits get extra ease through the shoulder for overhead motion. Share the sport and the movement range, and we start from the block that matches — not from a generic T-shirt pattern stretched to fit.

How should I size a team order across different athletes?

We grade team kits on a fixed XS–3XL table matched to a height/weight guide, so every athlete lands in a size. Send us your roster with heights and weights, and we return a size-distribution recommendation — plus how many of each number to print for jersey numbering. Because athletes are measured on real bodies, not guessed, fit issues drop sharply versus ordering from a generic size chart. If your team spans very different builds, we can add a second grade set within the same style.
